Our commitment

A backup before every change

Before we change anything on your site, we make a full copy of it. It sounds like a detail, but it is one of the most important rules in our work: it means that even if something went against our plan, or if you do not like the result of the changes, it is always possible to return to the state before our work. We work with a safety net, not on a live system without cover. As a result, updates, fixes and rebuilds stop being a "what if it breaks" risk, because there is always something to go back to.

In brief

How it works

A backup before we start

A full restore point, files and database, is created before we make any change to the site.

Working on a copy where possible

Risky changes (e.g. a major update) are tested first on a copy or staging, and only a verified version goes to the live site.

Always reversible

If you do not like the result or something behaves differently than expected, we return to the starting state without drama and without data loss.

A copy independent of the server

We keep the restore point so it is available even when something goes wrong with the site server itself.

Frequently asked questions

Is the backup an extra charge?

No. A backup before a change is a standard part of our work, not a separate line on the invoice.

Do you also make backups under ongoing care?

Yes. In care plans, backups are made regularly and automatically, not just during a one-off repair, so you always have a fresh restore point.

How long do you keep the backup after the work?

We keep the restore point from a given job for a reasonable time after it is done. Under ongoing care, backups are refreshed on a set schedule.
